Filming and Photography

The primary function of Bahrain International Airport (BIA) is to provide facilities for the safe, secure, and efficient movement of passengers, freight, and aircrafts
Photography and filming are not allowed within the airport. However, BIA works closely with commercial organizations and private sector entities wishing to use the airport for filming and photography.

Apply for Filming or Photography Permission


To apply for filming or photography permission, please contact the Corporate Communications Department:

*Request must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the filming or photography date.

Important Note

  • The airport’s management team is not obligated to agree to any request and has the right to reject them for any reason.
  • Dates may be changed depending on the airport’s operational requirements.


The following documents must be submitted with each request

  • Valid ID card and passport of person(s) attending the filming or photography
  • Official letter requesting permission for photography and filming
  • Full detailed equipment list
